Unconventional thinking
Check out what's going on in NYC. Fun, creative and innovative thinking using bus tops for growing gardens. Gardens Flourish on Top of City Busses. Think of the potential if it was actual food - not just ground cover, flowers, shrubs and the like. Granted the potential of growing food lends itself to a whole other can of worms when the bounty proliferates on top of a bus - it also lends itself well to even more creative and innovative thinking! One could think to grow low growing crops like strawberries, or cool crops like spinach, lettuces, baby bok choy and even various herbs. It all depends on the the depth of the soil. Think apothecary. Think knot garden. Think outside the box. The question is - would you eat the food grown on top of an urban bus? I would so much it's been cleaned like any other commerical organic produce for consumer consumption. The mysterious side of plants transforms our terrible carbon waste into something magnificient - we put worse things in our bodies...
